Privacy

For your privacy, uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted from our servers after the configured retention period.

What happens to a file you upload

  1. The file is uploaded over your connection to this server and stored outside the web root, where it cannot be reached by URL.
  2. It is checked before anything else touches it — file type by content rather than by extension, and, where a scanner is installed, for malware.
  3. The tool you chose processes it and writes the result to the same private storage.
  4. The uploaded original is deleted as soon as processing finishes.
  5. The result is deleted automatically after 1 hour.

How long things are kept

Uploaded filesdeleted after processing, and in any case within 1 hour
Processed results1 hour
Job recordskept without the files, so your history still lists what you ran

Who can download your result

Only the browser session that created the job, or someone holding a signed download link issued to you. Links expire, and job identifiers are random rather than sequential, so nobody can guess or enumerate another person's files.

Accounts

You do not need an account to use the tools. If you create one, we store your email address, your name if you give one, and a hash of your password — never the password itself. You can erase your entire processing history, files included, from your dashboard at any time.
